The Mid-States Corridor is a direct implementation effort to move the needle on the three pillars of focus for the Coalition. Daviess County is strongly positioned for this opportunity – particularly given the current economic conditions.
Daviess County is strategically positioned along the I-69 Corridor. This connection will create economic prosperity for the region.
Considering the investment that the state has already made and the current precarious times, Daviess County is a fiscally sound decision.
Daviess County has a proven track record in accomplishing significant economic development objectives in rural Indiana.

The Daviess Driven campaign is an initiative of the Advance Daviess County Coalition - an initiative to show Indiana we’re ready for a new opportunity. We are #DaviessDriven.
As a community, we’re interested in a commitment from the decision-makers of the Mid-States Corridor, which will promote the most cost-effective routes while achieving the goals identified as part of the project:
  • Improve business and personal regional connectivity in Dubois County and Southern Indiana;
  • Improve regional traffic safety in Southern Indiana;
  • Support economic development in Southern Indiana; and
  • Improve highway connections to existing major multi-modal locations from Southern Indiana.
